#### Purpose and Procedure

At the end of this task, when you highlight a couple of exceptions to the -VCe pattern rule, be sure to pronounce *live* with the /ĭ/ sound, as in “I **live** in town,” not with the /ī/ sound, as in "She listened to **live** music at the concert.”
