## 28.2 The Slow-Fast Game

#### Purpose and Procedure

This task introduces saying words slowly and fast that have initial blends that begin with a quick sound, like /blll/ in *blend*. Here, you say the word first, and then you and the student say it slowly together before the student attempts it solo.

## 28.3 Rhyming

#### Purpose and Procedure

This is the first rhyming task with four distinct onsets.

In this task, the onsets are /th/, /m/, /s/, and /r/. All words will rhyme with *at*.

## 28.5 Finger Tracking

#### Purpose and Procedure

This task introduces students to finger tracking across more than two lines without dashed arrows connecting the lines.
