In this task, students will learn the sound /n/ as in snide.
This task returns to saying words slowly and fast that have initial consonant blends that are composed of a continuous sound followed by a quick sound. Except for the first word stem, you will not tell students the word before saying it slowly and you will not say it slowly with them before they try on their own.
In this task, the onsets are /th/, /d/, and /r/. All words will rhyme with air.
The new passage in this task introduces smaller boxes between words. The boxes will soon be phased out entirely.
