#### Purpose and Procedure

This task returns to minimally different pairs of CVC and CVCe pattern words (like *Jan* and *Jane*), but this time the students will read each word without you reading them first.

Pronounce every *n* in this task as /ŋ/.

You don’t need to pronounce the /g/ at the end of *sting* or *stung*, but you will pronounce the /k/ at the end of *stink* and *stunk*.
