This time, when reading individual continuous sounds the fast way, the instructor and the student will not say them simultaneously. The instructor will model them, and then the student will read them solo.
This task introduces segmenting and blending words that end with a stop sound and begin with consonant blends that are composed of a continuous sound followed by a stop sound.
In this task, the onsets are /f/, /t/, and /m/. All words will rhyme with all.
This task has students read their first word that has an initial continuous-stop blend and a final stop sound: stick.
